What we do:

Association to Support the Development of Psychiatry “Adiutare” has been accomplishing interesting projects for some years, due to which we keep achieving our goals determined by our bylaws. These are activities focusing on the most important problems that challenge persons with psychiatric illnesses. From among them the following deserve a special mention: discrimination in the job market, lack of sufficient and adequate knowledge about psychiatric illness in society at large, and negative social attitudes as a result of it.

In order to decrease and limit these and other challenges we undertake the following steps:

  • We help persons with psychiatric problems to be employable again in their professions; we organize courses, trainings, and meetings with a psychologist.
  • We educate diverse social groups, among them teachers and school youth.
  • We create educational materials, brochures, and fliers.
  • We organize conferences, social campaigns, exhibits, bazaars, art workshops.
  • We visit interesting sites, which means that not only do we promote cultural familiarity, but also we develop new social skills among the concerned persons.
